Stairs almost done ~ just need to do the basement stairs

Re: that window on the landing... that's not exactly where we thought it was going to be... but it's hard to know when looking at plans ... well, we'll have a good breeze and lots of light. If I would have known it was so close to the landing ... I would have moved it up just a ways. We thought it was more at eye level. When the guys were doing the logs and leaving spaces for the windows, there is no way they would have known back then. It's okay... but it just looks a little odd.

I like that you have a big landing on your staircase. And the window their just gives it a unique conversation piece!

congrats on the window and the stairs!! Those odd things like the window will eventually become the things you like most - the unique things that make your home your very own!!

Dang, that's just impressive. You're really going to enjoy that place. That is just one nice looking staircase!

Tell Magoo you put this window on the landing in just for him when he was little. It does light up the stairs which are often too dark. The stairs are beautiful. Now I can go up and see the second floor. I don't do ladders anymore. Ha Ha

That's going to be an amazing home when it's finished. I like the detail that has gone into it.

I'm with Grandma W., yay for no more ladders, that was little too terrifying for me. The stairs look great!!!! I'm so sorry we missed you guys last night, we tried to call as we got closer, but didn't get through which is fine because we really had to just grab a quick bite and get back on the road. I'm bummed we didn't get to see you though! Call us if you have time to stop when you come through St. George. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!
