Our other babies, starting w/ Quixa
This is Quixa, she's our Belgian Melanois. This dog is the greatest!! I had never heard of a Belgian Melanois until Mike. These dogs are fast ~ hence the name Quixa.
We actually picked her name out of a German Shepard book. She is so loyal and devoted.

We had two other dogs,
Savannah (golden retriever) that was 12 years old and
Mindy (a reddish golden retriever) that was 9 years old ...
over the past couple years we had to put them to sleep.
I miss them so much, still!!

Love that face! She is so sweet! We had a German Shepard growing up (Yankee, because my dad was one). I loved that dog. I'll post a picture of my Jack later... it's a similar pose to Quixa's, such a sweet face!

I have cats, but as a kid we had a German Shepherd. She was a fabulous dog.

Belgian's look so much like German Shepards, except their hair is shorter... and these dogs can run like nobody's business!! FAST!

When the Princess was two, I paid close to $500 for a golden retriever. He was the most beautiful dog. At six months old, he weighed right at 150 pounds! 150 pounds of PUPPY! We finally gave him to a man that had 50 acres he could run around and play on.......too hard for us to have a dog that big with a child that small!
She looks just like a German Shepherd! She's beautiful...I absolutely love her eyes!
I saw a dog just like her today at the Irish Festival! Cute! ;)

we made the fish tacos this weekend (by "we" I mean that I went to the gorcery store for the fixin's and my man did the rest) We made cod tacos, and both loved them... this is the only taco for us. Really good.
