Quick update until later

Tumor is 4 cm not 2.5... it's huge... in fact pituitary is part of the tumor now. So big that part of it died already and that is what was causing so much pain ten days ago. Surgery in approx two weeks. Just went for vision testing at Dr. Chen Young's office (our most favorite eye doctor) and now off for blood work up. Surgeon needs to coordinate w/ ENT doc. He will have a non functioning pituitary gland after surgery ~ SAD!! He will need to be on 3 to 4 meds to act as his pituitary gland. More later.

Praying for you!

Hey Terri - and all :D
Just stopping by to say Hi and send you all the best from across the pond over here in Snowy England. I read your posts in shock, and firmly believe that it never rains but it pours.
Hopefully the fact the docs have such a good game plan, things will be sorted very soon. Whipping out the nasty and being on medication might suck, but still, it could be worse.
Hang in there guys - hopefully this is just a bit of a bumpy start to the new year, and things will be rocking and all good before long!

All the best from me!
-Dan

As Dan said... a bit of a rocky start to the year.. but in two weeks you can start the year afresh... taking medications is better than the alternative.

Tell Mike that all your blog friends are pulling for him. That may sound strange to him, but we are a strange bunch - your blog friends! I will be thinking good thoughts towards my fellow police officer! Hang in there.
