Oh my heck, I was having a hard time getting the words to be in the right place..
so I'll do it this way for now...

Our wonderful Beaver neighbors sent us these pics. Yikes, this is awful high!
You won't catch me up on that scaffolding! We'll be running up this weekend ~
next week we'll be renting a crane so we can put up the 60' beam that goes across the "family cabin".
Once the beam and gables are up, we can start the tongue and groove. Gosh, it won't be long before we can get that roof on.

Awesome progress is being made! Can't wait to see it finished, but then I bet you are even more excited by that prospect!

Terri

Good looking photos and a lot of progress made. I will be heading north to UT in a couple of weeks to check our home in Saint George. Have a fine Vegas evening.

WHY DO YOU KEEP CALLING THAT CASTLE A CABIN?

Dan said...

I'm with the Crabby Old Man... I thought a "cabin" was like one, maybe two rooms, low ceiling, three windows and a door :D That, my dear, is an entire fricking house.

I can't believe how quickly they are getting it up! Congrats all around - can't wait to see more progress!

In reference to crabby's comment: or, you could call it "little house in the mountains" ss opposed to "on the prairie".

I just can't imagine what the finished house will be like!! We'll all be the color 'green'!! (with envy, of course!)
