I know....
... my blog is kind of boring right now ..... all this cabin stuff .... but it's the most exciting thing going on for us at the moment.
Maybe after today, I'll just post a pile of pics once a week.
I have just been hanging out w/ Magoo and keeping this house. I am hoping Casey will come stay with me for a few days after his surgery on Wednesday... I promised that I would spoil him and make all his favorite foods. He just said "we'll see". I hope he comes, it will be like old times. He lived w/ me until he was 22 and I still miss him. I think it's sad when your kids fly the coup.
I had a huge case of empty nest when he left... hence the two parrots and a new child!!!
Anyhoo.. I just posted a new set of blog cabin pics below. To me, they are so exciting.

I would be writing a lot too if I had a log cabin like that being built! How exciting! My parents would melt at the idea of having their own log cabin. They are both from up north but have been living in Key West for the past 25 years so I guess they have been "tropicalized." But they still miss the snow and log cabins and everything else that comes with "real" winters. Your snow pictures are great and make me wish it would start snowing here! I only have about 2 1/2 weeks left of this amazing journey before I have to come back to Florida and finish school. Casey is your oldest son right? I hope his surgery goes well...and if he knows what is good for him, he will come stay with you during recovery...there is NOTHING like a mom when you are sick, sad, weak or vulnerable! Take care and talk to you soon!
I'm digging the progress pictures, anything but that junk on the grill picture!
My dear, it's your dream and your blog. don't apologize for you excitement. I am excited for you.

I'd totally be posting cabin pics all over my blog. It'll be pretty exciting to see it get built. I'll just try to refrain from expressing my seething jealousy. ;)
Oops, I mean to say here, its not boring, that its interesting to see how it goes up!
I don't stop by for a few days and look at all that happens! The cabin looks GREAT, and I'm so glad to hear Casey's surgery is still on. I will start my praying.
I don't think that is boring at all.....exciting stuff!
I pray all goes well with Casey's surgery!
