Beaver weekend pics
This side will have a 4' ramp to the basement and a mudroom. Someday, the mudroom will lead to a garage that will attach to it.

They are framing the octagonal section ~ this will be the kitchen area.
We got home about 7:00pm last night and it's been a VERY hectic day. I had lots of phone calls to make and some catching up to do.
Matthew had a GI doctor appointment; it went very well. We're going to try a drug to increase his appetite.
I received some upsetting news from my 25 year old son.
Standing over the kitchen area looking towards the back.
Wanted to jump on the puter and post what was done this weekend. I took these pics using Mike's super duper wide angle lens.
We are pretty excited about it. We were approved for our building permit today and the footers will be poured on Friday. Hopefully we'll be "throwin logs" in three to five weeks.
We got home about 7:00pm last night and it's been a VERY hectic day. I had lots of phone calls to make and some catching up to do.
Our HP laptop computer (only 5 months old) crashed and is dead dead deadsky. I feel sick over it ... everything was on there ... all our pictures ... just everything. I hope there is a way to get it all back ... we can't even turn the thing on. I'm not sure how much stuff is saved on our little "stick".

I received some upsetting news from my 25 year old son.
He found out today that he has some kind of heart defect. *very sad face* Apparently he's been feeling dizzy, experiencing some chest pain and a rapid heart rate. I am waiting to speak w/ Matthew's cardiologist; hoping to hear that it's all going to be okay.
Casey said they will try to control w/ meds ... but it may require a surgery ~ good thing, it won't require cracking his chest open ... can by done thru a catheter. Problem has to do with a portion of his heart being too thick, it interferes w/ impulses and cause heart to misfire.
*big sigh* I feel awful about it. I now have two kiddo's w/ a heart defect ~ wow.
I'm feeling all kinds of guilty... I know I'm not supposed to ... but I do in a "mom sort of way".
I promise, I will be around to visit your blog soon! I miss everyone! I need to see what you all are up to and I think of you guys often, isn't that funny! I'm using Mikey's old computer for the time being.

OOO that is not good news from your big boy!!! Fingers crossed it is nothing serious, as if you need another boy with heart problems!!! The house "pitt" is looking great, progress .... can't wait for more photos... some walls would help! (((((BIG HUGS))))
FROM THE PICTURES IT SEEMS LIKE YOU WILL HAVE A REAL PRETTY VIEW.
SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT CASEY. SOMETIMES I THINK MY PRAYERS DO NOT GO VERY HIGH ,BUT I STILL WILL PUT HIM ON MY PRAYER LIST
Terri, I am so sorry to hear about your son's heart problem. Hopefully our great surgeons will make short order of fixing it for good.
I am so envious of your cabin! It looks wonderful.
OH sweetie. So sorry to hear about Casey. I'm hoping and praying for good news. =( Keep us posted.
And I'm gonna need to see some Halloween cuteness with Matthew in it!!! Just FYI.
Beaver:
Terri, you've been talking "cabin". Did you mean "mansion"?
Casey:
Terri, don't let crabby fool you! His prayers go right up and touch the hem of God's robe! We're both pulling for Casey.
Love you.
Terri
Good morning. Thanks for the good photos and keep them coming. Good luck with your computer [time for everyone to backup those important files to a cd or other device] and good luck to your son. It is okay to ask why. Have a fine Vegas day.

Best wishes for Casey. Very impressive spread!
Looks great.
Sorry to hear about your boy.....hope all goes well....
And dont worry we all get busy.
I must say that I am impressed w/ HP ... they will send us a box ... we will send computer back to HP ... and hopefully they will work their magic. They will try to keep all our goodies on the hard drive. Cross yer fingers!
My sister is telling me not to panic about Casey... she's seen this problem before when she worked in cardiology dept at the hospital...
even IF Casey needs surgery...it should fix the problem...
We'll be home this weekend... so I should have time to come around visting!
Hugs!
Yes, cabin (no) mansion (yes), and with some pretty nice views.
I'm so sorry to read this. :( We'll be praying for you all.
p.s. The cabin looks wonderful!
I am sorry to hear that about Casey....hopefully it will not be anything too terribly serious!
The cabin is going to be beautiful and it looks HUGE!
Oh no, I will definitely be praying for him. Don't feel guilty, us moms just can't control everything. Even though we really like too. Wink.
((Hugs))

I think it looks kinda big b/c of the wide angle lens (remind me not to let Mike get a pic of my backside) ~ the first floor is 1875 sq ft.
That bites about the older son. My kid sister, 22, recently found out she has a heart problem too.
We just recently had our external hard drive with all our pictures die. We are hoping to be able to rescue three years worth of pics from it! I feel your laptop pain!
The cabin site is looking great!
I am so sorry to hear about Casey. I would feel crappy about it too... two sons with heart problems to worry about. You are a wonderful mother and you'll see them both through their treatments.
That looks like it's going to be a huge cabin.
My thoughts and prayers for Casey and your family. Hopefully they will be able to control the situation with medication.
The cabin is looking awesome! Sorry to hear about your son, though....
Terri, my heart and prayers go out to your son, your family, and the doctors who are helping him. All of our prayers together work. As you probably know, it's been scientifically proven.
It looks like you'd have no neigbhors around your cabin. Now THAT is my idea of heaven! ;-)
Oh Honey...
You are in my prayers...
You are one strong woman and so very glad your son knows this, and shared his heart news...
He knows that he has a stong Magnolia mom who can face anything for her children,,,
Wishing I could give you a big hug...
I can see the vision- it's going to be great!
Can't wait to see how the 'cabin' progresses!
Hopefully all will be well with your older boy soon!
I'm so sorry to hear about Casey! But I'm so glad they caught it before something major occurred. How awesome that his options are so great! It sounds like it will go well.
And the house looks awesome! How exciting!
