It's so hot here in Las Vegas ...

... that when I pulled out a half~filled "gallon size" Ziploc bag of shredded cheese (from Sam's Club)
.... forgot about it on top the refrigerator, in the garage (for an hour or so) ....
IT COMPLETELY MELTED... it looked as if I put it in the microwave......

Yes, Suzie Sidetrack here ... started to do something else and forgot about the cheese...

Mike called me to the garage, held up the ooyee gooey bag of oil & mush ..... and asked me if I had plans for it... DOH!

I wish I would have taken a picture. Drats... it was my last bag of cheese!

I will see how HOT things are sometime in the early morning when I drive by Vegas on my way to UTAH! Oh by the way, traffic in Vegas is sooooo sloooow !!! Plus, there are COPS everywhere !!! Have a nice Vegas Evening.

Yes, cops everywhere is a good thing!!

and Oh. My. Heck. traffic is awful... made worse by the heat... made worse by all the construction.

I don't leave my house unless I have to!

In ref to the COPS, when passing by Vegas I just SLOW DOWN and go with the traffic flow ... I pick up the pace [not too fast] after passing the APEX summit on the way North. On the way South I pick up the pace [again, not too fast]after passing the I-215 connection [the one heading to Henderson].

I can't believe the difference in temps from here to there!!

It hasn't reached triple digits yet!! Temps running around 95 degrees this week.

Wish you had taken a pic of the cheese!!

Did you try frying an egg? I tried that once during a heat wave. Didn't work.

See? I've saved you the trouble of attempting to fry an egg on the sidewalk.

Yes Dorky,

the next time I go get eggs out of the refrig in the garage...

I might leave on top to see if I can "hardboil" them. Hey.. you never know!

Sams also sells the five gallon size containers of tortilla chips - Nachos!

On an older note, you hoped to maintain your 'G' rating, sad news, I went to the rating web site and you are rated 'R'.

Terri@SteelMagnolia said...

Hey Joe...
Great idea about the chips!

RE: my rating.. I knew my post on the 17th re: sex offenders would totally blow my G rating...
but.. it was worth it..
and then the "rape stand" in my post about the dogs...
Oh well... boo hoo

Gets me ready for my post about the Rape Case where you can't say "rape" or "victim".. HUH??
