I could hardly wait to get this out to you, so I just copied an e~mail I sent to our buddy Beth Fisher of KVBC Channel 3 news ~ She has been by our side this entire time, supporting us and trying to help us make some much needed changes in this state as far as healthcare is concerned.

We simply could not be more thrilled and excited!

Dr. Mayman said Matthew's leak is actually better than our last visit!!!!!!!!!!!!
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!

It is truly a miracle..... in our wildest dreams, we could have never imagined hearing those words!!!!!!!!

Dr. Mayman pulled out the previous pictures of his heart and said that he can't really explain it ... only that it's rated a 3 now!!!

He said it will be "a while" before his next surgery ... sometime between one and five years... his guess would be closer to five years!!

Words can't describe how we feel. We are in heaven. Life could NOT be better for us than this very moment.

Dr. Mayman told me that he wants me to go home and finally enjoy life, enjoy Matthew, take him out and let him be a kid.

Tears are welling up in my eyes as I write this.
I am overjoyed.
This is as exciting as the day we were told we had more health insurance!!

For the first time in a long time, I feel that I have some peace!
I thank God.

The trick is not to just believe In God. You have to BELIEVE GOD!

God is who He says He is.

God can do what He says He can do.

These are the thoughts of Beth Moore, the renowned bible scholar and teacher.

I thank God, and praise Him for who He is and what He can do!

Love to the King family!!

I'm actually crying tears of joy for you now my dear blog friend. What a sap I am!

Thank God.

Now, listen to your doctor and enjoy Matthew. You know how fast it goes even under the best of circumstances. I can't imagine how fast it is when you're holding your breath half the time.

Exhale my friend!!!!!!! =)

This is great news Terri .. there is nothing better than hearing that an improvement/recovery cannot be explained by the highly trained, skilled and respected medical world ... no disrespect to them .. it is a great pointer to the work of God!

Is there any reason it should stop there?

Enjoy!!

There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that God had his hand in this!

God has been watching over us all along. I feel bad, because I sure didn't feel that way for those first few months of Matthew's life..

but then all kinds of things started happening... and all kinds of things started falling into place at the perfect time.

Amazes me still!

What wonderful news! I am so glad that Matthew can take it easy for awhile before he has to have any major surgeries! It must be great to breathe easy for a change! Good luck to you and your family.

Awesome, Terri - I shared Matthew's story and pictures from his blog with Kim last night. We have both been very touched and affected by his story and know it has to be a huge relief to know you have some time now to just enjoy him.

God bless -
J.

Even though I'm just a cat, I'm very happy to hear this news (and I'll pass it on to my dad, who usually reads your blog).

Now can I get a belly rub over here?

I had a visual of...well, you know. I can't bring myself to leave it on your blog--especially not this post. :D

Queen of Mayhem .. I can't believe you said that. (After looking through all the comments then realising Terri meant look down the blog).

.. no one could ever say it isn't clear Matthew's a boy.

re: your question--did you wonder how I manipulated the color in the photos I take? I use iphoto. It prettymuch gives me the ranges i need-- I can take a photo, then make is look very sharp or like a watercolor. I use photoshop to put Bob and cat together, or bob and perfume--but I have been taking more photos lately, and not maniplutaing them at all--so I have less time for photoshop. (it is very time consuming!)
