Sunbird/Sunnie
This is Sunnie, our 12 year old Catalina McCaw. We rescued him about four years ago.
He's such a talker and has quite a vocabulary. He tells himself to "shut up" and "bad bird, baaaaad bird" after he screams ... He say's "ummmmm", "is it good?" "ummmmmm" while he's eating.
Tells us hello when we come in and BYE when we're leaving. He's always asking us to give him a kiss and to "come' ear". He keeps up completely entertained!

Okay, I'll have to buy a scanner to show you pics of my 2nd wedding. Went to Hawaii and the hippie that married us had gorgeous birds as part of the ceremony. Jay hated it - should have been a sign right away, huh?

OH MY GOSH! What a darling pet to have! Greetings at the door and jokes too? Just not fair. Sounds like the perfect pet!
He is so pretty! My friend had a cockatiel (SP) and that bird was helarious! We were at her house and her son burped....that bird starting LAUGHING! I thought I would die! Then she told the little boy to keep his foot off the bird's cage. When he put it back for the third time, she spanked him. That bird started dying laughing again!
That is a bird after my own heart!
